A fresh new syndicate for 2021
This is a brand new syndicate for 2021, representing an upgrade of co-owners joining us from four existing 60ft Puerto Portals-based syndicates. They wanted us to source a newer yacht with four en suite cabins, but they also wanted to be berthed on P2 Wellies Quay. And that was a real challenge, even for highly experienced yacht share experts like us, simply because most 60 foot four cabin yachts come with three heads. As usual, though, we managed to pull out all the stops.
This is the result, a unique proposition that provides a highly desirable yacht share complete with her own young captain. His primary role is maintenance, engineering and cleanliness, plus bosun style mooring and cruising assistance if you need it.
As co-owner you act as the primary bareboat style skippers while you’re on board. If you like you can stand your captain down for total privacy. But having a captain on board means you enjoy even better cruising and anchorage possibilities, for example carrying out the night watches for you and saving the typically-high berthing fees you get when cruising exclusive places like Ibiza and Formentera.
The yacht herself is a real Sunseeker masterpiece. She provides a wonderfully sociable layout including a wide bathing platform and a very cool transom beach club area complete with a BBQ, fold-away bench seat and overhead rain shower. It’s detailing like this that sets the Manhattan 66 apart.
Because the galley is on the main deck, there are four extremely spacious cabins below decks; two large twin cabins, a forward VIP suite, and a fabulous full-beam master cabin with its own private stairway from the saloon. This represents a first for this size Sunseeker, and it makes this craft as unusual as she is beautiful.
