Fractional Yacht Ownership in the Middle East & Asia
Yacht ownership in the Middle East and Asia has it’s own special appeal. It’s neither a passage-making destination, nor similar to the typical Med boating holiday scene. It’s more about a combination of doing business mixed with leisure.
Corporate on board hospitality plays a major role on yachts in these waters, with sunbathing being less of an attraction. The coastal scenes and beaches are still as spectacular as elsewhere, it’s just that with 365 days of warm weather, sun sea and sand are somehow less of a novelty. With the low cost and easy availability of hostesses, entertaining on board becomes the norm.
Fractional syndicates are particularly suited to this region as a share only incurs limited expense, coupled with only needing a few weeks a year on board to focus on having fun. This suits corporations as much as it does individuals. Often, it’s a mix of both where the share is funded by the business and subsequently used for midweek business entertaining and weekend family and friends pleasure.
