Fractional Yacht Ownership in Hong Kong
Yachting provides one of the best ways to admire this modern metropolis in all its glory. One can embark on a truly spectacular voyage from Hong Kong Island through the wonder of the harbour, past the spectacular Tsing Ma Bridge and out to the peaceful outlying islands and country parks.
Anchor at Cheung Chau Island for a glimpse of a traditional fishing community, or Lantau Island for a day spent enjoying its challenging mountain walks, warm beaches and awe-inspiring giant Buddha perched high on a plateau. Lamma Island is famed for its sumptuous seafood feasts, while Sai Kung truly blooms with its natural beauty boasting some of the region’s finest beaches.
Hong Kong is particularly suited to fractional yacht ownership as it is considered a more occasional yachting destination. Syndicate owners have full access to their yacht for social and corporate entertaining and occasional beach trips, without the burden of the full time cost and attention a privately owned yacht normally demands.

Sunseeker Predator 62 Syndicate Information
This is an existing syndicate for Hong Kong that allows buyers to purchase a half share in this luxury yacht.
This Sunseeker Predator boasts a large cockpit equipped with ample seating and a cockpit barbequing area, complete with grill, sink, preparation area and fridge. The salon offers a large U shaped lounge for entertaining or dining area for up to six.
This Sunseeker 62 also offers great accommodations for a stunningly elegant sports yacht. The master cabin is amidships with a centerline queen berth and a large private head. The yacht has two large opening and four fixed port holes, beautiful wooden cabinetry, over head reading lights, flat screen television, a vanity mirror and stool, and a small comfortable divan.Guest quarters include 2 further en-suite staterooms, forward with centerline double and side stateroom has two bunks. Both have storage space and each equipped with television. The guest head and master head are both equipped with vacu-flush heads, decorative countertops, and designer sinks. The yachts galley is down to port with ample space and a dinette to starboard.
This fractional program allows for complete flexibility in terms of usage of the boat, whereby allocation matches ownership. For example if you own 50%, you will be entitled to 50% of the usage of the boat throughout the year.
Owners can simply look outside at the weather, pick up the phone to book their yacht and relax knowing everything else is taken care of.
The ownership of this luxury yacht is equally shared among shareholders and the acquisition cost is leveraged through a loan provided by the yacht supplier. Owners also receive charter income out of any unused time, which means that some of the annual costs of the share are negated.
The company’s quarterly statements to owners provide a breakdown of each owner’s usage during three months, any charter income received and the monthly operating costs. The quarterly fees are further divided into three areas: the variable costs of maintenance and repairs; a fixed cost that includes a charge for the essential services that keep the vessel on the water, including the crew, mooring and insurance; and a charge to each owner that accounts for their fuel consumption and hospitality costs while onboard.
This syndicate is also suited to corporate use, where senior members of Hong Kong companies are can buy into the yacht, so that they can not only have a yacht for personal use but also have it available for company purposes when needed.
