Fractional Yacht Ownership in Mexico
The Sea of Cortez is unique in several ways as it receives more sunlight than any other sea in the world today (320-plus days of sunshine per year). The sea itself has extreme depths of water greater than 2 miles and it contains three distinct currents.
The result of this unique combination is an abundance of microscopic plankton, which is the food source for thousand of types of marine life. Therefore, in this environmentally preserved ecosystem, the wealth of marine wildlife is unequalled anywhere in the northern hemisphere.
Espíritu Santo is a large (102 square km) island surrounded by a set of smaller islets known as Isla Partida, Los Islotes, La Ballena, El Gallo y La Gallina. It lies some 20 km east of La Paz. Because of its proximity to La Paz Bay, the island has been intensely used in the past and is still the most heavily visited island in the Sea of Cortés. It is littered with evidence of pre-Hispanic occupancy by the Pericú people.
In La Paz, syndicate yacht owners have an amazing variety of experiences discovering:
• Island excursions
• Swimming with Whale Sharks
• Light fishing
• Scuba diving
• Snorkeling with tropical fish
• Kayaking
• Whale watching
• Golf & Shopping (when disembarking yacht)
